BCC Center to Celebrate Grand Opening

Broome Community College (BCC) is offering a series of courses in the Village of Owego this fall, and to make registering for courses easier, the college - in collaboration with the Tioga County Office of Economic Development - has established an Advisement/Registration Center at 173 Front Street in Owego.
There will be a Grand Opening Celebration at the center on Thursday, July 10, at 5:00 pm. The Ribbon Cutting is scheduled for 5:30 pm hosted by the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce. Everyone is invited to participate in the festivities, partake of summer refreshments, and learn more about the BCC in Owego Program.

In addition to obtaining general information about BCC in Owego, students (and potential students) will be able to get specific course and program-related information from academic advisors at the center as well as register for courses. The center will be open from 5:00 until 7:30 pm on Thursday evenings throughout July and August, and from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon on Saturday mornings (specific dates to be announced).

The Owego course offerings are open to all students - matriculated and non-matriculated. Although many students will be able to attend BCC full-time (12 or more credit hours) at the Owego site, the college encourages students to enroll part-time - to explore a discipline, for personal improvement, or just for fun.
