• Mother/Daughter Book Club
July 14, Monday, 7 pm
The Mother/Daughter Book Club, a discussion group for girls 10-years-old
and older, will discuss The Witch of Blackbird Pond. Call the library if
you would like to participate. There is still time to join the group.
• Celebrate Harry Potter's Birthday
July 30, Wednesday, 6 - 8 pm
Enjoy games, puzzles and fun in celebration of Harry Potter's
Birthday. There will be treats, trivia, and tricks for all fans of Harry
Potter. No registration is necessary! Prizes will be given to each person
who brings a Harry Potter trivia question (and answer) written on an index
card!
• Pre-Reader Story Time
Thursdays, 10:30 - 11 am
Parents with children who haven't yet entered 1st Grade are welcome
to join this lap-sit program which offers stories, finger plays, songs,
and crafts. Registration is not necessary.
• Summer Reading Club
Sign-up now for the summer reading club. Earn new prizes every
week that you spend time reading! Registration forms are at the library.
Fill out one soon and get a free Summer Reading Book Bag!

July 10 - Stories from around the world with storyteller

July 17 - Music and singing fun with Fred Gee at St.
Margaret Mary's Church Hall
July 24 -Discovery Center and searching for dinosaurs
and other animals of the past.
July 31 - Animals visit the library from the Zoo Mobile
August 7 - Ice Cream, Books and Music at the Annual Ice
Cream Social.
Summer reading programs are funded by a grant from the BOOKS
program through Senator Libous. The Ice Cream Social is supported
through donations from several local businesses.
• Volunteer at the Social
Sign-up soon to help out at the Ice Cream Social which will be
held on August 7. Sign-up sheets are at the library.
