The Return of the Pink Tickle The "Pink Tickle" is back and guaranteed to be popping up all over. This fabulously fun flock of flamingos could strike anyone at any time, and no one is safe (unless they have purchased "tickle insurance.") The teens of the Saint Patrick and Blessed Trinity youth groups will be taking orders to put flamingos (the "pink tickle") in the yards of unsuspecting residents. The senders can remain anonymous. The flamingos will remain in the "victim's" yard for twenty-four hours, and then they will be gone. A Basic Tickle costs $15, and will put pink flamingos on the victim's yard for twenty-four hours. A Deluxe Tickle costs $25 and includes a special flamingo gift for the victim. If you fear being tickled, you can purchase Tickle Insurance for $20 which protects you from invasion. Victims are also asked for a personal donation (of any amount) when the teens come to remove the birds the following day. Proceeds from The Pink Tickle will support the youth group's trip to the National Catholic Youth Convention at Houston, Texas, in December. The youths hope that everyone enjoys this playful fundraiser. To place your order or to buy insurance, call Mama Bird at 327-1872. Or send your name, phone number, whether you want to be anonymous, the Tickle Victim's name and address, and any special directions or special instructions to Pink Flamingos, St. Patrick's Church, 300 Main Street, Owego NY 13827.
