Enter Your Daughter in 
"Little Miss Apalachin 2003" 

The "Little Miss Apalachin" Contest, sponsored by the Apalachin Fire Department, is held every June in conjunction with the Apalachin Firemen's Field Days.

 The contest is open to girls who will be eight- or nine-years-old at the time of the contest and who live within the Apalachin Fire District. Contestants must pre-register and their completed application form (see below) must be received by 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2003.

 The contest will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, June 7, in the food tent on the Apalachin Firemen's Field Day Grounds. The contest lasts about one hour. Contestants are requested to check in at the stage area at 11:30 am.

 The children may choose their own attire. Contestants are based on appearance, personality, and communication skills.
