Pre-School Story Time
Thursdays, 10:30-11 am
Pre-school story time will be looking at puppies, kittens, and other babies in the world during the month of May. Parents with children ages 3 and up are welcome every Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:00 am. This lap-sit program offers stories, finger plays, songs, and crafts. A new topic will be explored each month.  Registration isn't necessary and new friends are always welcome to join the group.

New Books
Have you read Lost Light by Michael Connelly, Dating Game by Danielle Steel, Jester by James Patterson, or Birthright by Nora Roberts?  There are many new novels out by your favorite authors this spring. The Apalachin Library has very short waiting lists for all their new titles; please let them know what you would like to read.

National Volunteer Week
National Volunteer Week was April 27 - May 3.  The library would like to thank all the volunteers who help keep the library running.  Volunteers contributed over 1000 hours last year towards running the library and helping with programs and fund raising events. Please take time to view the photo gallery of volunteers next time you're in the library. And  say thank you when you see them around town.

Book Donations
The Apalachin Library is always glad to accept used books in usable condition. Please remember that they cannot take Reader's Digest condensed books, encyclopedias, or old text books. Books may be left any time the library is open.
