23rd Annual Strawberry Festival to Honor Owego's Finest

The Owego Police Department will be the honored guest of the Owego Strawberry Festival on June 21. This year marks the 150th Anniversary of the Owego Police Department and the festival committee celebrates the protection and dedication of the department to the community through the years.

The Strawberry Festival Committee has engaged many exciting entertainment events for the festival including belly dancing, country western and rock & roll bands, a German band, strolling musicians, and jugglers. The Ross Park Zoo will attend the festival with their zoomobile. Waterman Conservation Education Center will have a display of raptor birds. Games, moonwalks, face painting, and larger-than-life cartoon figures will entertain the young ones.

To inquire about a craft or food booth at the festival, contact the Historic Owego Marketplace, Box 425, Owego, NY 13827.
