Kie Named National Award Winner

  The United States Achievement Academy announced that Kevin Kie of Apalachin has been named a United States National Award Winner in Physical Education. The academy recognizes fewer than 10% of all American high school students.

 Kevin, who attends Owego-Apalachin Middle School, was nominated for the award by Mr. Miles, a teacher at the school. Kevin will appear in the United States Achievement Academy Official Yearbook, which is published nationally.

 Kevin is the son of Terry and Bonny Kie of Apalachin, and the grandson of Bill and Charlotte Kie of Johnson City, Joan Drum of Johnson City, and John and Judy Stimik of Binghamton.
