April 12 - Saturday

•Pancake Breakfast - 8 am - 2 pm, Warren Center United Methodist Church. Many breakfast items available. Free will offering accepted. 

•Bunny Breakfast - 8 - 11am, at the Owego moose Lodge. $4.50 for adults, $3.50 seniors & children 3-12, free for children under 3.

•Craft Fair & Bake Sale - 9 am - 4 pm, Apalachin United Methodist Church, 303 Penna Ave., Apalachin. Crafts & homemade items, lunch available.

•Easter Egg Hunt - 1 pm, Apalachin Lions Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt, behind TLC-BOCES School on Penna. Avenue in Apalachin, Rain date is April 19.

•Spaghetti Dinner & Dance Benefit - 4-8:30 pm, Benefit the Mocilo (Momo) Milasinovic family. Dinner served from 5-6:30 pm. Entertainment, dancing, 50/50 raffle, silent auction from 4-5pm & 6:30-8:30 pm. At the Owego Elks Lodge

•Soup & Salad Supper - 4:30 - 6:30 pm, First United Methodist Church, 71 Main St., Newark Valley. Free will offering requested.

•Swiss Steak Dinner - 5 pm until all are served, Nichols Methodist Church, Nichols, Take-outs are available.

•Chinese Auction - 6 pm at Tioga Center High School, sponsored by the Rainbow Lioness Club of Nichols. Filled baskets, new/used items, Refreshments available. Door prizes

•"Christ in the Passover" - Bimini Cohen presents "Christ in the Passover," 7 pm, Lounsberry United Methodist Church, 3586 E. River Road, Nichols. Goodwill offering will be taken.

April 13 - Sunday

•Easter Egg Hunt - 2 pm, Park Terrace Community United Methodist Church, for children under 12. Cupcakes and drinks available. If weather is bad, hunt will be inside. Held in conjunction with an Open House from 12 Noon to 3 pm.

•Boat House Dedication - 2 pm, followed by Open House until 4 pm, The Les Wagner Rowing Center, hosted by Hiawatha Island Boat Club, 3348,  Rt. 17C, Owego, Everyone is invited to attend.

April 19 - Saturday

•Easter Party - 10 am Easter Egg Hunt, 10:30 am Easter Bonnet Parade. At Nichols Elementary School, Ro-Ki Blvd, Nichols. For children ages pre-school - 12 years old. Bring a bag or basket. Sponsored by the Rainbow Lioness of Nichols.

•Easter Egg Hunt - 10 am (ages 1-4) and 11 am (ages 5-12), 1st Annual Owego Gymnastics & Activity Center Easter Egg Hunt, 56 Main St., Owego. Cost is $2 per child

•Turkey Hunting Seminar - 1:00 - 3:00 pm, at Highland Gun Shop in Warren Center, PA. Roger Sannwald is the featured speaker. Free. Everyone is welcome to attend. For directions and more info, call (570) 395-3208

•Support Our Troops Rally   2:30 - 5 pm, Courthouse Square in Owego, sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #480.

•Owego Community Garden Open House - 6 pm, behind the Open Door Mission on North Street. For anyone interested in renting a plot or learning more about starting their own community garden.
