Small Wonders Exhibit
Now  - April 6, daily, 10am-4pm
 This special exhibit, which is on loan from the University of Colorado museum, includes framed close-up photographs of amazing insects by famed nature photographer, Fran Hall.  The exhibit is free and open during normal business hours, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

 Little People, Big People
Tuesdays, 9-10:30 am, 4-5:30 pm
 Little People, Big People is a nature program for 3- and 4-year-olds and an accompanying adult. Each week has a different theme. $2 members, $3 non-members. Pre-registration  required.

 Backyard Maple Sugaring
March 8, Saturday, 1 pm
 Come to Bloodnick's Farm at 691 Pennsylvania Avenue in Apalachin to find out how maple sap is collected and processed into syrup. This workshop is dependant on weather so please call Lisa at 625-4141 to confirm the sap is flowing. An alternate date of March 15 has been set for the workshop. Free.

 Volunteer Naturalist Meeting
March 19, Wednesday, 9:30 am
 All volunteers are invited to this monthly meeting to discuss opportunities for volunteering at Waterman. Coffee and a morning snack will be served.

 Vernal Equinox Walk 
March 21, Friday, 6 pm
 Celebrate the Vernal Equinox - when day and night are equal lengths. For centuries, this day has heralded the time of new growth and an end to the dark of winter. Participants will plant a flower, and join in a twilight hike. Free for members, $2 non-members.

 Nature Photography Workshop
March 22, Saturday, 1 pm
 Photographer Karen Friedenberg will be giving basic instruction on nature photography. The program will emphasize how to best use the existing environment. Geared for beginners. Students should bring a 35mm camera if possible, but some of the techniques may be used with a point and shoot camera. Pre-registration required. $10 members, $12 non-members.

 Children's Garden Informational Meeting
March 29, Saturday, 10 am
 Parents, children, and volunteers are invited to learn more about this innovative 4-H gardening project called Junior Master Gardener (JMG), which will be offered on Saturdays this summer.
