OFA Post-Prom Committee Sponsors Outback Dinner Fund Raiser

The Owego Free Academy Class of 2003 After-Prom Committee is sponsoring an Outback Dinner to raise money for after-prom activities. The dinner will be held on Saturday, March 22, at Owego Free Academy. Buffet serving will take place between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. The menu will include Outback steak and chicken, Caesar salad, baked potatoes, cheesecake, and beverage. The cost is $12.00 per person. Tickets are available at the main office at OFA. Tickets will be on sale until March 7. There will be no tickets sold at the door. The evening of the dinner, there will also be a drawing for some great prizes and gift certificates.

The 2003 Post-Prom Committee is a group of parents and volunteers working to raise funds in order to offer students an evening of after-prom activities in a safe, chemical-free environment. It is very important to provide this type of activity for students so that safety is not a concern on such a special night. The proceeds from the fund raiser will help to defray the cost of this gathering.

The Owego Apalachin Central School District is also presenting a musical performance of "Oklahoma!" the same evening at 7:30 pm, at the Middle School auditorium in Owego.

Why not make it a night to remember with dinner and theater? Play tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased at Apalachin Elementary School and Owego Free Academy.
