Dance Marathon to be Held in Owego 

Venturing Crew 38, a co-ed scouting group affiliated with Boy Scouts of America, is hosting a 20-hour Dance Marathon on Friday and Saturday, March 28 - 29, from 6:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The marathon is for anyone 14-years-old and older. 
 The Dance Marathon will be held at the Tioga Trails Café (Owego Central Marketplace) at 50 Lake Street, near the Tioga Theater.
 Tickets are $20.00 per couple in advance, or $25.00 at the door. The cost includes breakfast. 

 Advance tickets are available from the Tioga County Council on the Arts at 179 Front Street in Owego. Tickets can also be purchased by mail. Send money/checks (payable to Venturing Crew 38) by March 15 to Julie Lemmon, 864 Summit Road, Apalachin, New York 13732.

 Prizes will be awarded throughout the event for best dressed, best dancers until the final award is presented to the last couple still dancing. 

 Dance lessons will be available Saturday, March 8 and 15 for those interested in learning four types of dances including the Fox-Trot two step. Lessons are from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the Tioga Trails Café, and are $5.00 a class. 

 The Dance Marathon is a fund raiser to help finance a trip to West Virginia for Venturing Crew 38.
