Book Club
January 27, Monday, 7 pm

The Book Club will discuss Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts on Monday, January 27, at 7:00 pm.  This popular title has been reviewed as quirky, warm and zany. It has won awards and was recently made into a television movie. Please stop in and request a copy soon. Anyone is welcome to join our discussion.

Toddler Time
Begins January 16, Thursday, 6 pm

The evening toddler program for walkers 2 1/2 and younger will begin again Thursday, January 16.  For six weeks, toddlers and their parents meet at 6:00 pm for a half hour of actions, rhymes, stories, and free play with puzzles and books. Space is limited so registration is necessary. A second session will run March 6 - April 10.

To register please call the library at 625-3333.  Please leave the parents' name, the child's name and age, and a phone number.

Overdue Fines
Overdue fines are now tracked on our computer. You will be notified of a fine when you check new items out.  If fines go above $2.00, a notice will be mailed to you. If you have any questions, please call the library.

Thank You
Thank you to everyone who donated nonperishable food in the last six weeks to pay their overdue fines. We collected more than 120 items to help stock food pantry shelves this winter.

A big "Thank you" to Dan Kosztyo for donating his snow plowing services to keep our parking lot clear. Thank you for supporting our community library.

There is a new assortment of used books available to purchase in our lobby. Children's books cost 10 cents, adult paperbacks are 25 cents, and hard cover books are 50 cents.
