Tioga Centre General Store Ribbon Cutting 

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held at Tioga Centre General Store on Route 17C in Tioga Center on November 29.

 Tioga Centre General Store was first established in 1849 and was one of the first mercantile stores in the town of Tioga Center. The store has operated off and on ever since then, always as a mercantile of one form or another. It presently operates as an antique shop and old-fashioned soda fountain. The store was recently purchased, and is operated by Brian and Jackie Brimfield. 

 In addition to antiques, Tioga Centre General store offers collectibles, tin ware, Boyd's Bears, linens and primitives can be purchased at the store.

 The store is opened Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Thursday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday 12:00 Noon to 5:00 pm.
