Legion Post 401 Donates to Council on Arts

 American Legion Post 401 awarded a donation of $1,000 to the Tioga County Council on the Arts last month.
 Commander Ed Bidwell made the presentation to Annette J. Schweiger, Executive Director, and Jim Wood, Sr., Program Director of the Tioga County Council on the Arts at the Legion home at 263 Front Street in Owego. 

 Commander Bidwell said the donation was in appreciation for the Post 401 participation at the Hickory Smoked Blues Festival last summer at Hickories Park in Owego. Tioga Post 401 is looking forward to being a part of Hickory Smoked Blues II this coming summer on July 27, 2002.
