Wine Tasting in Owego
Six of New York's finest vineyards will be represented at the 5th Annual "Uncork Support" Wine Tasting Benefit at the Tioga County Historical Society on Thursday, November 8, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
The evening will include wine tasting - sample some of your favorite Finger Lake wines - hors d'oeuvres, door prizes, and live music by Adam Reed. Each guest will receive a complimentary wine glass with the Historical Society's logo.
Wineries represented at this year's wine tasting include Americana Vineyards Winery, Interlaken; Chateau LaFayette Reneau, Hector; Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards, Hector, Lakewood Vineyards, Inc., Watkins Glen; Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars, Lodi; and Standing Stone Vineyards, Valois.
Admission is $20 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or advance reservations may be made by calling (607) 687-2460. Advanced tickets are $35 per couple. Proceeds from the wine tasting will support the historical society's programs.
The Historical Society Museum is at 110 Front Street in Owego.
