Mural to Greet Visitors

Mark Trabucco and Tim Tarbox paint a mural on the north side of the Dollar Store - formerly the J. J. Newberry store - on the corner of Main and Lake Street in downtown Owego. The J. J. Newberry sign - long a landmark in downtown Owego - was removed from the Main Street side of the building on October 12. The mural, which will welcome people to Owego, will depict the front door of the Pumpelly House and the river and hills of the Owego area.
