Gregory Darling Weds Faith Anne Roselle

Faith Anne Roselle and Gregory Scott Darling were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony on July 28, 2001 at Boulevard United Methodist Church in Binghamton, New York. Pastor Gary Roselle and Pastor Eugene (Pete) Darling officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Pastor and Mrs. Gary and Josephine Roselle of Greene, New York. The groom is the son of Pastor and Mrs. Eugene (Pete) and Jill Darling of Warren Center, Pennsylvania.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Hannah Roselle, as maid of honor. Keith Darling, the groom's brother served as the best man.

Bridesmaids were Kelly Andreano, Sarah Simchera, Melodie Nelson, Shannon Hagedorn, Eve Hiller, Eve Scarinzi, Sara Chaffee and Amy Scarinzi. Groomsmen were Jonathan Roselle, brother of the bride; Sean Eberly, Randy Dewing, Kristjan Rauhala, Tim Chaffee, Caleb Roselle, brother of the bride; Taylor Gosnell and John Mack.
Miniature bridesmaid and groomsman were Rachel Roselle, sister of the bride and Joel Roselle, brother of the bride. Flower girls were Grace Roselle and Joy Roselle, sisters of the bride. Ring bearer was Christopher Roselle, brother of the bride.

The bride wore a sleeveless princess seamed gown of ivory bridal satin with an embroidered-edged bodice. Susie Chaffee, the groom's aunt made a matching Renaissance-style floor length cape with a cranberry-lined hood, gathered at the neck.

The bride carried a bouquet of calla lilies and ivy, symbolic of the flowers carried by her grandmothers and mother. The groom carried the little white Bible his grandmother carried fifty years ago in her wedding, signifying the biblical foundation and godly heritage both families uphold.

An outdoor reception was held on the grounds of Faith Christian Fellowship church in Apalachin, New York following the ceremony. Friends of the bride and groom provided an assortment of special music. Families and church congregations of the bride and groom prepared the dinner, coordinated by Karen Mead. Nicole and Leah Mead coordinated the decorations. Janice Dewing made the wedding cake and Jonathan Roselle, brother of the bride, made the groom's cakes.

The bride was honored with four bridal showers, given by her sister, the women of Resurrection Life Fellowship in Binghamton, New York and Faith Christian Fellowship in Apalachin, New York and the groom's family. The couple was honored with a rehearsal dinner at Old Country Buffet in Vestal, New York, on July 27.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of North Jersey Home School Association and graduated from Victory Bible Institute where she took a Bible course with an emphasis on worship leadership, piano and guitar.

The groom received a diploma through the Pennsylvania Homeschoolers Accreditation Agency and graduated with the New York State LEAH (Loving Education at Home) Class of 1996. He was a 2000 graduate of Campbell University, North Carolina, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, was recognized as a distinguished military graduate and commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant. He is serving in the 10th Mountain Division at Fort, Drum, New York and is currently deployed overseas. 
Following a honeymoon to Boston, Massachusetts, the couple resides in Watertown, New York.
