Bottle Drive
 The library will be collecting bottles until Monday, November 12.  Please leave your deposit bottles and cans in the collection bins on the front porch of the library, and thank you for all the cans and bottles!

5th Annual Coat Drive
 In cooperation with the St. Margaret Mary's Youth Group, the library is collecting clean usable winter coats until November 18.  The coats will be distributed to local families through the Open Door Mission. Please check your closets!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town  
December 1, Saturday, 10 am
 See Santa arrive by fire truck.  He will sit and visit with every girl and boy and there will be Christmas treats, cookies, and music for everyone. Feel free to bring a toy or donation for The Apalachin Lion's Club's Christmas baskets, and be sure to bring your camera. Santa's visit is a joint event sponsored by the Apalachin Fire Dept, Apalachin Library and the Apalachin Lion Club.

Book Discussion Group
December 3, Monday, 7 pm
 The group will discuss Pope Joan by Donna Woolfolk Cross.  Please call or stop by the library if you would like a chance to read this title before the group meets.  Any one is welcome to join at anytime.  Stop in even if you didn't read the book.
