Peterson Named Waterman's Program Director

Jeanne Peterson has been appointed Program Director at the Waterman Conservation Center in Apalachin. Jeanne has been with the center intermittently for the past four years. During that time she has taught and directed the summer day camp program as well as served as a staff naturalist, teaching programs to schools and the general public.

Peterson has a Masters in Education from Mansfield University and has been a substitute teacher in some local school. She enjoys sharing her life-long love of nature through her programs and activities. Jeanne has also taken over the care and training of Redmond, the center's red-tailed hawk. Peterson hopes to do more programs with this unique living creature.
