Little People Big People
October 4, 11, 18, 25, 10-11am
 Naturalist Susannah Krysko leads the littlest naturalists (aged 4 and under) and their big person of choice on a fall adventure. Weekly classes feature nature related activities and lots of fun. $12 per pair members, $15 non-members.

Fall Foliage Breakfast
October 7, Sunday, 9 - 11am
 Enjoy breakfast on Hiawatha Island amid the beauty of the changing leaves. Meet at the Waterman Center Boat Dock on Marshland Road in Apalachin. A boat ride will take you to the island. The menu includes eggs, bacon, home fries, baked beans, pastries, juice, coffee, and tea. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early. $15 adult members, $17 adult non-members. Children 5-12 half-price, children under 5 free.

Bwana Jim Reptile Show
October 13, Saturday, 1 and 3 pm
 Live reptile show with Bwana Jim featuring alligators, crocodiles, North American snakes, turtles and more. $4 members, $6 non-members. Children 5-12 1/2 price, under 5 free.

Volunteer Meeting
October 24, Wednesday, 9:30 am
 All volunteers are invited to the monthly meeting to discuss opportunities for volunteering at Waterman. Your talents are needed, so don't be shy. Coffee and a morning snack will be waiting for you.

Halloween Hikes
October 26, 6 - 8:30 pm
October 27, 4 - 8:30 pm
 Enjoy an enchanted walk through the Waterman wooded trails. Children with interesting costumed animals and creatures as they hike through the guided trails. Children age 2 and under will enjoy a shorter version of the hike featuring more realistic and less intimidating creatures. There will also be storytelling by a campfire and much more. $4 members, $6 non-members.
