Tioga Business Show - Oct 4

Business Show 2000
The show will formally open at 9:30 am with a Ribbon Cutting Event and recognition of sponsors. Senator Thomas Libous and other elected officials are expected to attend and help kick off the event.

The show involves more than 100 businesses from across the region. This year, the chamber is highlighting non-profit organizations such as the American Red Cross, Tioga County Council on the Arts, and The United Way.

A special booth has been set aside for the Tioga County Disaster Relief Fund for Orphans. Emergency service personnel will staff the booth and will be selling items to raise funds for the orphans of the fallen police, firefighters, and EMS workers from New York City and Washington, D.C. who gave their lives for others during the September 11 attacks in those cities.

Tioga County sent nine ambulances and 53 emergency volunteers to assist in the disaster relief in New York City. At the Trade Show, you will have the opportunity to personally thank some of the fire, police, and emergency volunteers.

Tickets for the Tioga Business 2001 trade show can be purchased at the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce or at the door for $2. For more information, call the chamber at (607) 687-2020.
