A New Hope Center Offers Training

If you are interested in having fun, making a social change, or being part of the community, consider some of the volunteer opportunities at A New Hope Center. The center is always looking for individuals, male and female, who have an interest in stopping the violence, a willingness to work with victims of all ages, and an open mind. This fall, they are offering great community education programs for volunteers and anyone interested in learning.

A New Hope Center's three-hour training entitled "The Link - Making the Connection between Animal Cruelty and Human Violence" will be held on October 15, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The program will be presented by Sue Nichols. Included in the evening will be a light dinner. Please call (607) 687-6887. for more details and information.

A New Hope Center is at 20 Church Street in Owego. Remember, one person can make all the difference in the world.
