Mrs. Colleen Craig has announced her candidacy for Town Clerk of Owego. With strong people and leadership skills, Mrs. Craig feels that the Clerk's office would benefit from a more cooperative atmosphere. She also believes that with her current experience as Court Clerk for the Town of Owego and her extensive background in bookkeeping, accounting, computer operations, and records management, she is a more than suitable candidate for Town Clerk. 

 Mrs. Craig currently resides in Apalachin where she has lived most of her life. She attended Vestal High School and graduated from SUNY Binghamton.  She has been married to Martin Craig for 30 years and has two grown children, one grandson and one on the way. 

 Mrs. Craig has developed a reputation for public service through her volunteer work at St. Margaret Mary's Church, where she coordinates various programs, plays the organ and teaches piano lessons. She is an active member of the Tioga County Democratic Committee, is a devoted animal lover and is very passionate about the environment. 

Colleen Craig is the endorsed candidate for the Democratic Party.
