The Tioga County Historical Society has an exciting new season of walking tours which highlight points of interest in and around Owego.
 Here is the tour schedule for the rest of the season:
  • June 9 Owego Business and Industries Tour
 • July 14  - Historic Fire Hall
 • August 11 - Architectural Tour of Owego
 • September 15 - The Great Churches of Owego
 • October 13 - Evergreen Cemetery Tour
 All tours begin at 11:00 am and last about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. All tours begin at the Tioga County Historical Society at 110 Front Street. After purchasing tickets for the Historical Fire Hall tour (July 14), participants should meet at the fire hall.
 Tickets are $2.50 for members, and $5.00 for non-members. You can buy tickets at the Historical Society on the morning of the tour, or you can reserve tickets ahead of time by calling the historical society at (607) 687-2460.
