Warren Township Fireman's Field Days
 The 31st Annual Warren Township Fireman's Field Days will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and 16, in Warren Center, Pa. You can enjoy games on the midway, ticket auction, gate prizes, and other family events. Friday starts at 5:00 pm with a chicken BBQ. Saturday starts at 2:00 pm with a chicken BBQ. There will be a parade at 7:00 pm and fireworks at 9:30 pm. 
 From New York, take Route 17 to Apalachin, then take Pennsylvania Avenue to Little Meadows, Pa., and follow the signs to Warren Center. From Pennsylvania, take 187 to Windham and follow the signs to Warren Center.

Can & Bottle Drive
 Our Lady of Sorrows and Seton Middle School will hold a Can and Bottle Drive on Saturday, June 9, from Noon to 3:00 pm. Drop off sites are Our Lady of Sorrows-Seton Campus parking lot at 1112 Broad Street in Endicott, and the Binghamton Savings Bank and Trust (BSB) at 540 Hooper Road in Endwell.

Pipe Creek Festival
 The Pipe Creek Festival will be held on Saturday, June 9, at Ransom Memorial Park, Route 17C, in Tioga Center. Events include a parade at 10:00 am, the Tioga County Sheriff K9 Demonstration at 11:00 am, and a Chicken BBQ at Noon. Bucky Moon and Country Connection will be at the festival from Noon to 4:00 pm. There will be lots of new games and fun for the kids.

Park Terrace Chicken BBQ
 Park Terrace Community United Methodist Church is having a Chicken BBQ on Friday, June 15, from 4:00 pm. Cost is $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. The church is at 30 Glann Road in Apalachin.

Amateur Animal Photo Contest
 The Tioga County Council on the Arts (TCCA) has announced its 7th Annual Amateur Animal Photo Contest. All animal photos are acceptable, however animals must be the priority in the photo. Entries must be a minimum of 4 x 6, and a maximum of 8 x 10, unframed and unmatted.
 There will be two categories: "photogenic" and "humorous." There will also be "Best of Show" and "Most Popular."
 The deadline for submitting entries to the TCCA office (179 Front Street in Owego) is Noon on Friday, August 24. Winning entries will be chosen by September 4 and all entries will be on display at Agway, West Avenue in Owego, beginning September 7.

Kids Night Out Concerts
 Kids Night Out, a series of free concerts held at the Court House Square Gazebo in Owego, will take place on Friday evenings, July 6, 13, and 20, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. The Mustard Seed Puppets will perform on July 13. Tom Knight, puppeteer, will perform on July 20.
 In case of rain, the concerts will be held at the Tioga County Historical Society at 110 Front Street in Owego. The concerts are made possible, in part, by public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency, the Village of Owego, and the Charles H. Bassette Foundation.
