Current volunteers of Owego's Meals on Wheels program (pictured at left) were recognized at a celebration held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the program. The celebration was  held at the Countryside Community Center on May 8. 
 Meals on Wheels provides nutritious meals for the elderly, convalescent, and disabled. Approximately 560 hot meals, 300 cold supper meals, and 60 frozen weekend meals are delivered monthly within three routes in Owego.
