Owego Camera Club News
On Friday, June 22, the Owego Camera Club will feature a special program. Mr. Joseph Buran of Endicott will present a "guest night" program based on his personal 16 mm movie recordings of local people and events. Buran is an avid still photographer and cinematographer, and has chronicled much of the past 66 years.
For the evening, Buran will present his record of events from 1936 to the present including the 1936 flood of the Endicott area, George F. Johnson attending a Labor Day celebration, and Endicott's 1956 anniversary celebration.
Everyone is invited to attend this special presentation at 7:30 pm at the Owego Community Center at 9 Sheldon Guiles Boulevard in Owego. The program will last about two hours. Hors d'oeuvres and dessert will be served.
Admission is free, but reservations for attendance is requested because seating is limited. To reserve a seat, call 687-4457, 687-9136, or 687-4380.
