The Owego Business and Professional Women's (BPW) Club is establishing a scholarship in memory of Dr. Miriam T. Elkin who passed away in April 2001. Dr. Elkin was an active, 25-year member of the Owego BPW. She was a devoted and well respected clinical psychologist for the Tioga County Mental Hygiene. Anyone wishing to contribute to the scholarship should send their donations to Owego Business and Professional Women's Club, Dr. Mirian T. Elkin Medical Scholarship Fun, P.O. Box 444, Owego, NY 13827-0444. Donations should be made by June 8, 2001, so the scholarship can be awarded this June. |
