Tioga County Sheriff's Dept. Awards

On April 4, the Tioga County Sheriff's Office held its Annual Award Ceremony to honor employees of the Tioga County Sheriff's Department for outstanding service in the year 2000. Certificates of Achievement Bars and yearly pins were awarded.

Recipients' names and their awards are: Deputies Scott Kadian and Julie Thresher, Sheriff's Commendation Bar; Correction Officer Eric Halstead, Certificate of Appreciation; Cook Jeffrey Tiffany, Achievement Bar; Deputy Bruce Randolph, Sheriff's Accommodation Bar; E-911 Dispatcher Kelly Hopkins, Croix De Negotiator Laurel; Deputy Wayne Moulton and Sgt. Casey Rhodes, Certificate of Appreciation; Deputy Robert Blaasch, Achievement Bar; Deputy Alan Bobier, Certificate of Appreciation and Employee of the Quarter; E-911 Dispatchers Maryann Malec, Kelly Hopkins, Chuck Allen, Cliff Allexander and Chief Dispatcher Steve DuVarney, Samaritan Bar/Stork Awards; Correction Sergeants David Gannon, Nate Marsh, Mike Winters, and Shaun Kemmery, Certificates of Appreciation; Deputy Sheriff Julie Thresher, Achievement Bar; Investigator Patrick K. Hogan Employee of the Quarter Bar; E-911 Dispatcher Marietta Barton, Life Saving Award; Correction Officer Robert Dow, Employee of the Quarter Bar; and Lt. Richard Gorman, Achievement Bar.

In addition to the above awards, years of service were also recognized including: Captain Paul Rhodes, 30 years of service; Lt. Rick Gorman, 30 years of service; Investigator Dan Eiklor, 25 years of service; and Deputy Sheriff Bruce Randolph, 25 years of service.
