Catfish Derby to be held June 2, 3

The Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 480, in Owego announces their Sixth Annual All Night Catch and Release Catfish Derby to be held June 2 and 3.

The final weigh-in will be held at 1:00 pm sharp on Sunday, June 3. The Grand Prize will be a 14 ft. Jon Boat, with a 15 HP Mercury "Four Stroke" Outboard on a trailer, worth more than $4,500. There will also be cash prizes, door prizes, prizes for the kids, and a cast-off for the kids with prizes.

Derby headquarters and weigh-in station will be at the boat launch in Hickories Park in Owego.

Registration is $20 per person. There is no registration fee for children 12 and yourger, and there are separate prizes for the Youth Division. Registration forms must be received by May 29.
