Town of Owego
• An Apalachin-Campville Bridge Committee has been formed to name the bridge. Send your ideas to the town.
• National Paper, a paper distribution company from Pennsylvania, will be locating at Hidden Valley in Apalachin.

Tioga County
• The county legislature hired MRB Group as architects for proposed new county facilities. 
• Ken Del Bianco was appointed new Commissioner of Public Works.
• The county is in the process of developing a Web site.
• The county released the findings of the site analysis. There were no restrictions found that would prevent the building of a facility. A final decision on the scope of the project will be determined in early summer.

Village of Owego
• Elections are this month. Get out and vote!
• The village hired RKG Associates of New Hampshire to study the economic impact of the county's proposed move out of downtown.
• Congratulations to the Boy Scouts of America who are celebrating their 91st Anniversary.
• Little League sign ups in Owego and Apalachin are being held March 10.
