Red Cross Opens Office in Owego

On March 1, the American Red Cross, Southern Tier Chapter opened a new office in Owego to serve Tioga County. The newly opened office will serve all of Tioga County except the towns of Barton and Waverly.

Helen Raymond, Executive Director of the American Red Cross, Southern Tier Chapter, said, "We look forward to continuing to provide Red Cross services in Tioga County. We know this office will give the Red Cross an opportunity to look for new ways to serve the community."

The office is at the Countryside Community Center, 9 Sheldon Guile Boulevard, Owego, NY 13827. Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The phone number is 687-1413.
