New Flag for the Boys and Girls Club

Employees of Scott Smith & Son, Gary Short (left) and Brian Scanlon (center) present a new American flag to the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club in Owego. Accepting the flag is Lew Sauerbrey (right), Executive Director of the club. When Gary Short noticed that the club's old flag was tattered and torn, he decided that a new flag was needed. Gary took up a collection from all the Scott Smith & Son employees, and bought the new flag which is now flying over the Boys and Girls Club in Owego. |
