PlayYard Concepts Child Care in Apalachin received a Community Facility Loan and Grant from the USDA Rural Development. The USDA loan of $50,000 will allow PlayYard Concepts to purchase the center that it is presently leasing at 31 Barton Road in Apalachin.

PlayYard Concepts will use the USDA Grant Funds of $18,000 to initiate renovations to the building to include a child care program for school-age children. PlayYard Concepts is a non-profit center that presently offers low-cost quality state-licensed child care to children ages 18 months to 5 years.
