McDonald's, Express Mart Open in Apalachin
McDonald's Restaurant opened last month at the new Mobil Express Mart facility on Route 434 in Apalachin.

"We're pleased to be part of McDonald's continued growth and to embark on this joint venture with Express Mart," said Clyde Stoltz, the franchisee for the new McDonald's. Mr. Stoltz also owns and operates eight other area McDonald's in Tioga and Broome Counties. "These combined services offer customers the greatest degree of convenience with names they know and trust," said Mr. Stoltz.
Express Mart has been a part of the Apalachin community for ten years," said Christopher B. Sweeney, development manager for Express Mart. "We're pleased to offer the community an expanded line of groceries and our brand new Extreme Thirst Zone, featuring 16 flavors of soda and coffees from around the world."

In addition to the convenience to area residents, the new facility also means new jobs and revenues to the Apalachin area.

The new Mobil Express Mart will be open twenty-four hours a day, including holidays and will feature restaurant-quality meat and fresh produce. McDonald's will be open from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and 7:00 am to 11:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
