I hope that all the Apalachin businesses that received their Christmas wreaths enjoyed them as much as we have. Our thanks go out to Mrs LaCombe's Kindergarten class. What a great job!

From the Principals' Desk

On December 21, 2000, Mrs. Middendorf, a former Apalachin Middle School teacher, returned with a time capsule created by the sixth graders form the 1975-76 school year. Former students, former staff members, and community members participated in the opening of the capsule and the viewing of the contents. Many memories were re-kindled. The contents of the capsule will be on display in the showcases in AES this month. Those people that might have an interest are invited to stop by the school to see what was important in 1975-76. There will be follow-up activities later in the school year . . . watch for details.
