Madrigal Choir Concert in Owego

The Madrigal Choir of Binghamton will perform in Owego on Saturday, December 9, at 7:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church.

The concert - the third in the Saturday Classics Series presented by the First Presbyterian Union Church of Owego - will provide a variety of music in keeping with the season. In addition to the choir concert, Peter Brown, organist, will perform on the church's historical tracker organ. Classical guitarist Paul Sweeney and Barbara Kaufman, who plays the recorder, will be featured. A fifteen minute performance will precede the concert.

The First Presbyterian Church celebrates the completion of its newly renovated church and hall by inviting the public to this uplifting concert. A free will offering will be taken. Complimentary refreshments will be served following the performance.

The program is made possible in part with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency. In Tioga County, the Decentralization Program is administered by the Tioga County Council on the Arts.
