Sharing with Others
What a wonderful time of the year. Our AES family and all of our families are having the chance to share with others. We are presently collecting food and toys, in conjunction with the Apalachin Lions Club. This activity will continue through December 16. We are also in the process of sharing holiday wreaths with many of the local businesses. This is part of our effort to share more with the community. Letters are going out on December 8 to the businesses. If any local business does not receive a letter talking about receiving a wreath, and they wish to be part of our sharing activity, they should call the office at 625-2193 and we will make sure they are included. We do not want to exclude any of the local businesses.

Winter Concert
Our Winter Music Concert will take place on Wednesday, December 6, at 7:00 pm. It will take about an hour and will prove to be an enjoyable time for all that can attend. This year's theme is "An All American Christmas." The entire community is invited to join us and at least hum along.

Playground Renovations
Our Parent Group and the school are looking at upgrading and/or replacing playground equipment. This is part of an ongoing project that was started two years ago. Money raised by the Parents' Group, along with money from the approved district renovation project will be used to finance these changes. Our equipment has served us well over the years, but it is now time to look forward to an upgrade, which will benefit the community as a whole, as well as the elementary school. Be on the lookout for more information as it becomes available.

We have much to be thankful for at AES. The ongoing support of parents and community is very much appreciated. We wish all in the community the very best during the upcoming holiday season.
