Basic Map
& Compass Reading

Naturalist Scott MacDonald teaches
basic map reading and compass skills. Ages 9 and older may participate.
Bring a lunch and plan to be outside. $2 members, $4 non-members.
Fall Foliage
Breakfast on Hiawatha Island
October 15, Sunday, 9-11 am
Enjoy an all-you-can-eat home-cooked
breakfast under the center's new tent. This is your last chance this year
to enjoy a breakfast on historic Hiawatha Island during autumn's blaze
of color. Cost is $15 for adults, $7.50 for children 5-12, and free for
children 4 and younger.

Halloween Hikes

Hike on candlelight trails through
Waterman Woods and meet the animals. Hikes leave every 10 minutes. There
will be storytelling around a campfire, musical entertainment, juggling,
face painting, crafts and food, and beverage concessions. $4 members, $6
non-members. No cost for children two and younger.
