Two important races in New York are Moppert vs. Hinchey and Mrs. Clinton vs. Lazio. I find it ironic Hinchey is always out there slamming the Republican Congress but at the same time he is out there bragging about its accomplishments. The economy, welfare reform and the surplus have been created despite him not because of him. Since 1994 these issues were rescued from a Democratic Congress. He and his Democratic friends have done nothing for Social Security or Medicare except proposing to spend more money. They have tried to scare every senior citizen into thinking Republicans are trying to eliminate or destroy those programs. Bob Moppert presents a clear choice. He understands the needs for Social Security reform. He understands healthcare is an economic issue that needs to be addressed not taken over by the government. He understands that economic development will bring more freedom to individuals than any government reform. He understands your right to have a gun. He understands he can't carry his gun on to a plane. It is time we were represented by someone who represents the values of the community and not just Tompkins County. Elect Bob Moppert.

There is really not much to say in the last race. Point blank Hillary Clinton is a Socialist. She believes government should provide you healthcare, dictate you child's education, and allow abortion on demand funded by the government. She believes in full gun registration. She supports her husband's efforts to diminish our sovereignty for the "better of the world." She supports the environmental extremists that continually threaten our economic stability and our individual property rights. Her husband during his address at the Democratic Convention was even brazen enough to brag about having the federal government takeover more land than any other administration in history. Lazio, despite all her criticism, has voted to the benefit of all New Yorkers. He has voted for tax cuts, wants to hold edu-crats accountable and get more money into the classroom. He supports a patient's bill of rights without handing HMO's over to the "tobacco lawyers." There is a reason for that. If lawyers were allowed to get their hands on HMOs the way they have tobacco, the delivery of healthcare in this country would crumble. Guess who would have to pick up the pieces? That's right, the government. If you can't get control one way you try another. Mr. Lazio has a proven record in Congress. It is one that will do New Yorkers well in the Senate.

Mrs. Clinton's accomplishments also need to be recognized. The failed takeover of healthcare, travelgate, Vince Foster, billing records, Whitewater, cattle futures, supporting the black panthers, supporting a Palestinian State, bringing education in Arkansas from 49 to 50th, fundraising scams degrading the White House, buying off Webster Hubble, Filegate, the hiring of Craig Livingston and the list goes on. (Sorry, I'm back. I ran out of ink!)

Mrs. Clinton is so embarrassed by her last name she won't even put it on her campaign material. You will not find any other politician from the local to federal level that doesn't use their last name. Yet she has nerve to try and tie Rick Lazio to Newt Gingrich. Even after her husband signed into law 7 of the 10 items in the Contract with America.

This has given me a great idea for my next campaign! Being of Italian descent and living in Apalachin, I will only use my first name: "The Don." This way when I knock on your door I can "Make you an offer you can't refuse!" Who knows the way politics have become a commercialized circus it just may work! Bush, Moppert and Lazio: Don't do it for yourself, do it to preserve your childrens freedoms.
