Storytime    Thursdays, 10:45 am
Storytime for preschool children ages 2 1/2 and older is offered every Thursday morning at 10:45 am. The children will enjoy a half hour of stories, finger plays, and crafts. No registration is necessary.

Fire Prevention   October 14, Saturday
Visit the library story and craft corner at the Apalachin Fire Department's Open House on October 14. Learn not to burn.

Antiques    October 20, Friday, 7 pm
Bob Connelly will be back for his popular antique appraisal clinic, an evening of show-and-tell as he explains the history and value of pieces brought in by your friends and neighbors. The Friends of the Apalachin Library ask for a $2.00 donation for each item Mr. Connelly examines.

Senior Citizen's Luncheon    November 4, Saturday
Apalachin Methodist Church
Gail Morrison, Library Director, will be the featured speaker at the Senior Citizens Luncheon. She will be leading a presentation and discussion on life on the home front during World War II. If you will be attending, please bring along any stories or memorabilia to share.

Bottle Drive      Through October 11, Wednesday
The library bottle drive will continue through Wednesday, October 11. Please drop off returnable bottles and cans anytime before the October 11 in the box on the library porch. Funds raised go toward the summer reading program and new children's books.
