RIGHT: Tom Farrington,
grandson of George Hobart Baker, listens to a speaker during the rededication
ceremonies. It was Farrington's mother, Marian Baker Farrington, who originally
unveiled the statue during the 1914 dedication ceremony.
Farrington and his wife, Doreen, live in Florida now. They were just passing through Owego that week and found out about the rededication ceremony when they stopped at the Chamber of Commerce for information. |
