New Fire Truck
The Apalachin Fire Department has a new truck - #101, pictured above in service at the Riverow fire on July 1. It is a 1999 HME Chasis American La France with a 1,250 gallon water tank and a 1,500 gallons per minute pump. The truck is 33 feet long with a 19 foot wheel base. It is a Detroit series diesel with 430 horsepower.
