Flemingville United Methodist Church Ground Breaking

A ground breaking ceremony was held on Saturday, April 15, at 2:00 pm at the Flemingville United Methodist Church for adding a Fellowship Hall to the rear of the church. The new handicapped accessible hall will accommodate about 70 people and will include a new kitchen. After a brief ceremony, the Rev. Margaret Chauncey, Pastor, (pictured at right) was the first to break ground. The church, located at 540 West Creek Road, just off Route 38, has been serving the community for 166 years.
