Interesting Web Sites      List of Previous Months' Interesting Web Sites

Great Buildings of the World
www.greatbuildings.com
Fred Marlowe of Endwell reccomends The Great Buildings Collection, a site which documents hundreds of buildings with statistics, 3D models, photographic images, and architectural drawings. There is also information on famous architects, and simple and advanced searching for the site.

Ahwaga Canoe Club
www.tier.net/ahwagacanoe
Rich Briere of Owego invites you to visit the Web site of the Ahwaga Canoe Club, a group of local recreational paddlers. The site includes upcoming events, canoeing checklist, "what's new," links to canoe-related sites, and a membership form. Membership entitles you to their newsletter, "Ahwaga CaNews" (how could you not love a newsletter with a name like that?)

Sitcoms Online
www.sitcomsonline.com
Jill Pastrick of Endicott found this site which includes a listing of TV sitcom pages as well as links to hundreds of others that are online. A good source for finding information and links to your favorite television sitcoms of the 1950's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's.

Ross Park Zoo
www.rossparkzoo.com
If you haven't visited Binghamton's Ross Park Zoo, here's your chance to take a virtual tour complete with photos and information about the animals (including their latest addition, a two-toed sloth). There's also information on the zoo's gardens, history, and upcoming events.

Lilac Festival
www.roch.com/lilacfestival
April showers bring May flowers, and in Rochester that means lilacs, lots and lots of lilacs. Twelve hundred lilac bushes - 500 varieties from deepest purple to purest white - are the focal point of a celebration that brings people from all over the world to stop and smell the lilacs.

Rainy Day Fun for Kids
www.1freespace.com/charfox
A reader found this page which has drawings to color - "Print these out for the kiddies or grand kiddies. Throw in a box of crayons and ... poof!. Instant peace and quiet."
