A benefit for "Little" Mitch McConnell, son of Mitch and Jackie McConnell of Apalachin, will be held on Saturday, May 13, from 1 to 5 pm at the Exchange Tavern on Main Street in Apalachin. There will be refreshments, prizes, a 50-50 raffle, and more.

Mitch has "Lincoln's Syndrome" (Marfan Syndrome) and has to go out of state for surgery to reshape his rib cage. The proceeds from the benefit will help offset expenses for travel and lodging.
