Welcome To Apalachin, Update
Last year we gave a tour of the sights that welcomed visitors to Apalachin.
Let's see what's changed . . .

Route 434 - The tempting aroma of coffee and donuts is from the new Dunkin' Donuts next to BEAM Electronics.
Route 434 - The 50-room Dolphin Motel opened last fall.

Route 434 - Mike has done a good job keeping Dekar Farms neat and clean this past season.

Route 434 and Pennsylvania Avenue - The old Ken's Gas Station was recently purchased by the Apalachin Planing Mill and is now in the process of being renovated for offices.
Main Street - The new owner of the Old Grange Hall is now trying to "Save the Grange" by renovating it. He hopes to use it for community gatherings and public events. To help Save the Grange, call George at 625-5251.
By July of 2001 visitors will be able to take this ramp across the river to Campville. Construction of the Apalachin/Campville bridge is expected to start in April of this year.
