Vestal Library Open Mondays

The Vestal Public Library will re-open on Mondays from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. According to James Holley, Director, the library promised its patrons that if funds became available, the library would re-open on Mondays. A substantial increase in library funding from Broome County allowed the library to make good on its promise.

Groups will now be able to schedule Monday meetings at the library.

The Vestal Library has increased their book budget and are installing additional Internet stations.

For the last five years, the Vestal Library has been closed on Mondays during non-summer hours. During the summer, the library was open on Mondays, but closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Regular hours at the library are:

Sunday 1-5 pm

Monday 2-9 pm

Tues, Wed, Thurs 9 am - 9 pm

Friday 9 am - 6 pm

Saturday 9 am - 5 pm
