These large flourescent orange signs have been placed on Front Street and Main Street in the shopping district of the Village of Owego. They are a reminder to motorist that according to "STATE LAW" pedestrians have the right of way in crosswalks. Pedestrians should also be advised that they should always use the crosswalks when crossing the street. |
