Step back in time on Hiawatha Island. Explore the crafts and skills of earlier days. Costumed interpreters will share their stories and skills. Following a short boat trip to the island, you will be free to explore the past with these fascinating volunteers. $5 for members, $7.50 for non-members.

If you are at least 55 years old, Waterman Center has a great opportunity for you. During this week, explore the art of storytelling and Native American lifestyles. The program fee includes all classes and some meals for the week. Space is limited and reservations are a must for this in-depth program. You must be a member of Waterman Center to participate in this program. The fee for the week is $250.

< Big Island Festival & Native American Dance Competition

Sept 24-26, Friday - Sunday

Mark your calendars today so you don't miss this exciting event. There will be more than 25 crafters and dancers from all over competing for more than $3,000 in prize money.

< River and Island Tours
